If you encounter the similar situations above, don’t worry. “Transfer Social Messages” function will help you to transfer social messages in an easy way. The following instructions will help you do it.

Step 1. Download AnyTrans on Your Computer.

Before you transfer social messages, please downloaded AnyTrans on your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing AnyTrans on your computer.

Step 2. Choose Function and Connect your Devices.

Open AnyTrans on your computer, and you will see AnyTrans launch screen.

Please choose Social Message Manager option, the screen below will appear. AnyTrans supports to transfer WhatsApp messages from Android/iOS device to new iOS device. Just take transferring WhatsApp from Android device to iPhone for an example.

Please select WhatsApp function and click Transfer Now option to transfer WhatsApp messages from Android device to iPhone.

Select your Android to be the source phone and your new iPhone to be the target phone. If you don’t connect your iOS & Android device to computer or your device is not recognized, you will see the interface as below.

Once both phones are recognized, the interface below will display. Click the Next button to transfer your WhatsApp chats.

1. If AnyTrans is unable to recognize your iOS device, you can try to fix this issue by following troubleshooting steps:

① Please download the latest version of AnyTrans.

② Check whether your USB cable is loose. If it is, please reconnect it. If USB cable is broken, please give new one a try.

③ Reinstall iTunes.

④ Please log in your computer as Administrator account (For Windows Computer Only).

⑤ Please close anti virus software temporally.

⑥ If problem persists, please contact our Support Team for further help.

2. If AnyTrans is unable to recognize your Android device, you can try to fix this issue by following troubleshooting steps:

① Please download the latest version of AnyTrans.

② Check if you have enabled USB debugging option in Settings.

③ Reconnect the Android device or give another USB cable a try.

④ Please make sure your Android device can be detected by the computer.

⑤ Check whether you have the latest version of USB Driver and ADB Driver on your computer and device. If not, download and update from your Android device official website.

⑥ If problem persists, please contact our Support Team for further help.

Step 3. Turn Off End-to-End Encrypted Backup Option.

After clicking the Next button, you will see the interface as below. If the End-to-end encrypted backup option is enabled, please open WhatsApp on your Android device and navigate to Chats > End-to-end encrypted backup >Turn Off > I lost my encryption key.

Then, please continue to tap Turn Off > Done > Back up to disable the End-to-end encrypted backup option on your Android device. After configuring the settings, please click the Next button.

Step 4. Manually Enable End-to-End Encrypted Backup Option.

After that, the interface below will display. Please tap Chats > End-to-end encrypted backup > Turn on to enable this option manually.

Then, please tap Use 64-digit encryption key instead > Generate your 64-digit key > Continue to create and save a 64-bit encryption key for backing up WhatsApp data on your device. After configuring the settings, please click the Scan button.

Step 5. Start to Back Up WhatsApp Data on Your Android Device.

After you click the Scan button, please tap I Saved My 64-digit Key > Create > Back up on your Android device. Then, click the Next button to start the process of backing up your WhatsApp data.

After that, the screen below will appear for backing up WhatsApp on Android phone.

Step 6. Transfer WhatsApp Chats to iPhone.

Once the backup has been created, you will see the app screen below. Please sign in WhatsApp account on your target iPhone, and enter chats interface. Then click Continue on app screen.

Please ensure that there is at least one chat available on the Chats interface before the next transfer step. If there is no chat, please create a new one at first.

AnyTrans will start to transfer WhatsApp data to your iPhone.

Please ensure the iPhone is unlocked during the transfer process.

Step 7. Succeed to Transfer WhatsApp Chats.

Once the transferring process completes, you will see Restore Completed interface. To go back to the home interface, please click the OK button.
