Transfer Apps from Phone to Phone

Step 1. Download AppTrans on Your Computer.

Before you start the transfer process, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing AppTrans on your computer.

Step 2. Connect Your Device to the Computer.

After downloading and installing AppTrans on your computer successfully, please launch AppTrans on your computer. And you will see the interface like below.

Please connect the two devices to your computer. And then, please click Transfer to Phone option and Transfer Now button.

By default, AppTrans will detect your device automatically once it has been connected. If you don’t connect your iOS or Android device to computer or your device is not recognized, you will see the interface below.

Once your devices are detected by AppTrans successfully, you will see the main interface as below.

1.If AppTrans is unable to recognize the iOS device, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.

2.If AppTrans is unable to recognize the Android device, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.

Step 3. Select the Data Type You Want to Transfer.

After clicking Transfer Now button, you will see the interface below. Please select the WhatsApp option and click Next button.

1. If you want to merge WhatsApp chats between devices, please select WhatsApp function. If WhatsApp chats have been transferred via Other App function, the WhatsApp chats on the target device will be erased.

2. If you want to transfer other apps, please remember to check Other App box. If you want to transfer the app data, please also check the App Data box.

Step 4. Configure Settings to Back up Data for Android Device.

Please open WhatsApp on your Android device – tap 3 dots menu icon– Settings – Chats – Chat backup to back up WhatsApp messages on your Android device. Please also select Never for Back up to Google Drive. After configure the settings, please click Next.

Then the screen below will appear for backing up WhatsApp on Android phone.

Then, a message will be popped up, which asks you to make sure that you have turned on “Install via USB” option on your Android device. Then please click OK button.

A pop-up window will show on app screen, please follow the instructions to give access permission. Click Continue on Android phone, and hit OK button on AppTrans app.

Click ok on Android phone and hit OK on AppTrans app screen.

Please enter password 1234 to back up chats to the computer.

Please ensure the backup password entered is correct, or it will fail to back up.

Step 5. Transfer WhatsApp Chats to iPhone.

Once you click Transfer Now button, AppTrans will transfer WhatsApp Messages from Android device to iPhone. The time to transfer WhatsApp Messages varies based on the amount of messages. Please keep patient.

Please ensure that there is at least one chat available on your iPhone WhatsApp interface. If there is no chat, please create a new one on your iOS device at first.

Once the transferring process completes, you will see App Transfer Succeed interface. To go back to the home interface, please click ok button.
