Step 1. Download PhoneTrans on Your Computer.

Before you start to make a full backup of your device, get the tool downloaded on your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing PhoneTrans on your computer.

Step 2. Select Full Backup Option.

Once you open PhoneTrans, please click Phone Backup – Full Backup option. And then click Start Backup button.

Step 3. Connect Your Device to the Computer Via a USB Cable.

Please connect your iOS device to your computer via the USB cable. By default, PhoneTrans will detect your iOS device automatically. If you don’t connect iOS device to computer or your iOS device is not recognized, the interface below will display.

Once your iOS device is recognized, the interface below will display.

If PhoneTrans is not able to recognize your iOS device, please follow these troubleshooting steps to solve the issue.

After that, please confirm the device you want to back up and the backup destination. Then please click Back Up button.

To make sure your data security, you can enter a password to protect your backup. If you do not want to encrypt the backup, please ignore it. After clicking Back Up button, please check the types of data to be backed up. Then click Back Up Now button.

Step 4. Confirm the Data Types Will Be Backed Up.

Once you click Back Up icon, the interface below will be displayed. All supported file types will be listed in the page. Please have a check and click Back Up Now button to start the backup.

Step 5. Wait for the Backup Process.

After you click Back Up Now button, the backup process will be started automatically. It may take some time to complete the backup process based on the amount of device data. Please keep patient.

Step 6. Backup Completed.

Once the backup process completes, you will see “Backup complete” interface. You can click Check My Backup button to check it. And you can also restore the backup by clicking Restore My Backup option. To exit the page, please click Back Button.
