2 Ways to Combine Apple IDs Into One [Updated]

“I have had my iPhone for years now, and have a lot of pictures and stuff associated with the Apple ID on this phone. I recently got a new work laptop, and created a new Apple ID on it, without thinking. I didn’t really appreciate how much stuff was associated with the IDs. I would like to just have 1 Apple ID, and merge the data together. Googling tells me there is no “official” way to do this, but I want to take the plunge and get all of the stuff merged over, even if it’s a pain in the ass. How would you all go about doing this?” A user asked on Reddit.

Unfortunately, the answer is NO. You can’t merge Apple IDs directly with Apple services. Since Apple released the iCloud service, it has never allowed users to combine two Apple IDs into one. It means if you want to seek help from Apple support, that would be impossible.

For most people, merging Apple IDs together is to better manage their iCloud accounts. So if there’s a way to combine the data in two iCloud accounts, it could be regarded as a solution to merge Apple IDs.
