Recently iMobie learned that Digital River GmbH (aka MyCommerce/Share-It), one of our payment processors, filed for insolvency (bankruptcy). As a result, many software vendors, including iMobie, have been affected. But rest assured, our operations, customer service, and technical support remain stable and unaffected. We understand this may cause concerns about your subscription, and we’re here to provide clear guidance on what this means for you and how to ensure uninterrupted service.
As of January 2025, Digital River GmbH has unexpectedly ceased operations. This sudden shutdown has impacted many software vendors, including iMobie, and affected subscription renewals and management for users who originally purchased through MyCommerce.
We had anticipated potential instability with MyCommerce and proactively migrated to Stripe as our new payment processor in October 2024. However, the abrupt and complete shutdown was beyond our expectations, disrupting automatic renewals and extending subscription benefits for users still on the MyCommerce platform.
If you purchased an iMobie product through MyCommerce/Share-It (you can check below if your order is processed by MyCommerce/Share-It), here’s what you need to know:
Your current subscription remains valid – You can continue using your iMobie software premium features as long as your subscription is active.
Automatic renewals are no longer functional – MyCommerce has automatically canceled auto-renewing subscriptions, and all premium features of your iMobie software will be inaccessible after your subscription expires
To ensure uninterrupted access to your iMobie product premium features, we encourage all affected users to update their subscription details on our new payment processor platform - Stripe. As a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we will extend your subscription for free by an additional 3 months when you successfully update your payment information.
After submitting your email, if a MyCommerce/Share-It order is found, you will be redirected to our cart to update your subscription and complete a free checkout. This confirms your subscription update and activates the 3-month free extension.
