"Bankers Against Bitcoin” protest outside Consensus 2018 turns out to be a joke
As 2018 Consensus conference kicked off today at the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan, a "Bankers Against Bitcoin” protest was on outside. A group of people chanted slogans like "hey hey, ho ho, Bitcoin has got to go," and held signs like "paper checks use less electricity!" It successfully attracted people’s attention and soon spreaded out.

But it soon turned out to be not a real "protest”, but a joke. It was organized by Genesis Mining, and was meant to raise mainstream public awareness for bitcoin and the power of blockchain technology through creative public campaigns.
Anyway, this "protest” managed to draw people’s attention and bring hot discussion on Twitter. Some think this is fun and make them laugh. Some think this is a joke for today but might be the truth in the future. What do you think about this?
