Step 1. Connect a Micro SD Card via a Card Reader.

Download and install DroidKit on your computer. Then, launch DroidKit on your computer and choose “Data Recovery from SD Card” mode.

Then, please connect your SD card to the computer. Please get your SD card connected: using a card reader.

Step 2. Select a Recovery Mode to Scan Your SD Card.

DroidKit provides two modes for SD card recovery. You can try the “Standard Recovery” mode first. If you can't find what you want, you can try the “Advanced Recovery” mode later. Using “Standard Recovery” mode, you can choose to scan for only deleted files or scan for all files on your SD card. “Advanced Recovery” mode will help you find more complete files.

Take “Standard Recovery” for an example. Please select “Standard Recovery” mode and then please click “Next” Button.

You will see the interface below. Please continue to click “Next” button.

Step 3. Wait for the Scanning Process.

Using “Standard Recovery” mode, you can choose to scan for only deleted files or scan for all files on your SD card. The time to scan SD card varies based on the size of data. Please keep patient.

Step 4. Preview And Recover Data from Your SD Card Selectively.

After the scanning process, all found files will be displayed in categories. From the left sidebar, you can click different data types to display the corresponding results. You can selectively check or un-check the files and then click "To PC" to start the data recovery process.

The scanned data can only be restored to PC instead of SD Card itself currently because of SD Card principles. If you want to transfer data recovered to Android device, you can give Data Manager a try.
